– AFNOR OBLIGATION, part of the CQP OPAH certificate: (show AFNOR norms and DDJS training obligation)
Since 2008, the management of adventure parks (known in France as ‘PAH’ – Parcours Acrobatique en Hauteur (high acrobatic course)) is contingent upon obtaining a degree called CQP (Certificat de qualification professionnelle (ie Professional Qualification Certificate)), which is mandatory for all employees managing the activity – whether handling client equipment, client briefing, surveillance or interventions in high levels for evacuation purposes.
– How the certificate is organized:
CQP OPAH training takes place over the course of 3 or 4 days, and includes at least 24 hours of theoretical and technical training, followed by a minimum 3-week practical training involving in-situ training so as to perfect the student’s knowledge and intervention skills, leading up to final practical performance exam conducted and confirmed by by the tutor.
